I remember talking to my sister during a very hard divorce. She had dated wisely, felt God led her to her husband and she loved being in ministry as a Pastor’s wife. When he committed adultery and left their marriage, she was devastated beyond anything she had ever encountered.
One night as we talked and she mostly cried, she said that even though she felt so numb and surreal, she kept reading the Words of God, for while she might not be able to comprehend it at the moment, she knew the Word would feed her spirit.
So, she shoveled it in and continued to wait in the horror of a divorce she never ever wanted.
As she read the Word and walked with her God, just as He promised…He revived her.
He comforted her.
He gave her new songs, new directions and blessings upon blessings.
Is life all perfect now?
No, but she is clearly revived and continues to walk triumphantly through the valley of the shadows of the death of her marriage.
She is confident God has His reasons for where she has been. She loves Him deeper today than ever.
She’s not the only story I could tell you. I have a few of my own and at least a thousand friends.
God’s Words are life words, healing words, hope words, comforting powerful words that transform and bless deeper than anything else in this world.
I hope you’ve spent some time there today. And if you feel in an affliction, this is by far, my best advice.
Read the Words of God. Keep reading.
Keep feeding your spirit.
You will be revived.
That’s what He said.
That’s what He does.

๐ I can relate to this, The Lord said this is a test can you pass it. My answer was I can and I will.

She felt the same and continues to bear witness of a good work being done. She just had a pastor ask her to marry him. She is …in the Word waiting. ๐

I her story is inspiring, eventually I hope my story has a wonderful ending as well. I was blessed not to be married to him and only date him. He is my guy in Addicted. I think sometimes as women we want to save everyone. However, Iโve come to the conclusion that not everyone wants saving. I realize itโs a spiritual battle and that itโs not mine but the Lords. The Lord said he had to break him so, I can only pray he pulls through the storm. I survived the test. Please tell her I wish her the very best and this time love will be sweeter. God Bless

I will. She’s being very cautious and I’m praying for her to get the very best possible new beginning. Same to you!
Yes, many women try to take God’s place and He has to reintroduce Himself. Smile.
She said she thinks she loved him more than God, although I never saw it. We all have our growing ground, eh?
Bless you!! ๐

Thank you. I will. She’s remarkable and still hasn’t said yes to him. But I’m praying her new beginning is all God wants for her. She deserves such goodness. So do you! Bless you!! ๐
